Serving conversion formula

Divide the label value by the stated serving size in grams, then multiply by the basis you need. Use 100 for a per-100g comparison or enter the grams you expect to eat. The calculation works for protein, fiber, sugar, fat, sodium or another label value, as long as the units stay consistent.

Example and limits

If a 40g serving contains 4g of fiber, the product contains 10g of fiber per 100g. A 60g portion contains 6g. Do not compare a dry product with a prepared product unless you first account for the water or other ingredients added during preparation.
